James F. McClellan, 72, of Mize, passed from this life on Monday, September 14, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.
Funeral services for Mr. McClellan will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, MS with Bro. Malcolm Byrd and Bro. Larry Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Waco-Fairmont Cemetery in Mize, MS with Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
He was born Monday, May 10, 1943 in Smith County, MS. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, and was a poultry farmer.
Mr. McClellan is survived by his wife Pat McClellan, three sons James “Junior” F. McClellan, Mize, Eddie McClellan and wife Connie, Mize, and Joey McClellan and wife Christy, Mize, three brothers Wayne M. McClellan, Mize, Jerry McClellan, Pensacola, FL, Tommy McClellan, Mize, and sister Joyce Lott, Puckett, MS, six grandchildren Jamie McClellan, Megan Cole and husband Joseph, Alec McClellan, Cameron McClellan, Logan McClellan, and Dillion McClellan, Mollie Kate Cole, Kendall Rae McClellan, and Bracklin Kace Wilson. Mollie Kate Cole, Kendall Rae McClellan, and Bracklin Kace Wilson, are Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded by His parents James Atkins McClellan and Annie Lee McClellan.
Pallbearers will be Jamie McClellan, Alec McClellan, Logan McClellan, Dillion McClellan, Joseph Cole, Brandon Traxler.
