(November 27, 1952 – January 29, 2022)

James Everett, 69 of Magee, Mississippi passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Asbury Hospice Home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Thursday, November 27, 1952, in Magee, Mississippi.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on vehicles, drinking his coffee at McDonald’s, and most of all spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Everett, Sr.; mother, Virgie Nichols Everett; and two brothers, Billy Ray Everett and Curtis Everett, Jr.

Survivors include his son, Dustin Everett of Sheridan, AR; four sisters, Glenda Sue Everett Roberts of Mt. Olive, MS, Peggy Jane Everett Pettis of Magee, MS, Joyce Everett Montgomery of Mize, MS, Virginia Ann Everett Allen of Mize, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.
