On January 21st, 2019, James Dewitt (Bo) Mullins,74, husband, father, grand-father, and great-grandfather, passed away at his home in Harrisville, MS.
Bo leaves behind a loving wife May Paulett (Polly) Mullins, and two daughters, Teresa Pierce and Angela Mullins. He will also be lovingly remembered by five grandchildren, James Pierce (Lori), Brittany Carman (Gregory), Jessica Pagart (Blake), Randall Graves, and Samantha Graves, and eight great-grandchildren, Landon Johnson, Emma Carman, Eli Carman, Landon Mullins, Noah Carman, Logan Mullins, Addisyn Dilmore, and Liam Pierce. He is also survived by sisters Martha Oaks and Luciel Stallin and brother, Milton Whatley.
He is preceded in death by his parents J.D. Mullins and Annie Bell, and sisters Francis Mullins and Clara May Allen.
Bo served his country in the U.S. Navy and returned home to
work in manufacturing maintenance. After retirement, he spent his time outside
doing what he loved best, mowing grass and watching the many grands and
great-grands.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday,
January 26, 2019 from 2:00pm until 3:00 pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in
Mendenhall.
A memorial service will be held immediately following
the visitation at 3:00pm at Colonial chapel funeral in Mendenhall.
