Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Zion Hill Baptist Church for James Delton Burch 80 of Mize who passed away Saturday, December 12th at his home.
Elder Thomas McNair and Elder Reece Douglas will officiate the service with a graveside Masonic service to follow in Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Music will be provided by the pierce family. The pallbearers will be the Masonic Lodge Members.
Mr. Burch was a member and deacon of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He was also a member and p.m. of Fairmount Lodge No. 384 in Mize where he served as secretary for 40 years. He was a Tool and Die maker employed at Magnetek Manufacturing near Magee for 34 years. He also farmed part time.
He was preceded in death by his son Dwayne Burch his parents William Franklin Burch and Eula (Gentry) Burch, one sister Agnes Burch and two brothers, Dillard and Delmas Burch of Mize.
Survivors include his wife, Melba (Goodson) Burch of Mize, two sons, Danny (Teresa) Burch and Jeffery (Beth) Burch. One daughter-in-law, Debbie Burch. Five Grandchildren- Tiffany (Brantley)Hickman of Ironton, MO, Lindsay (Hunt) Hutson of Seminary, Hannah( Mason) Grissom of Taylorsville, Josh (Erica) Burch of Dallas, TX and Davin Burch of Mize. Three Great- Grandchildren, Elisha, Eden and Ember Hutson of Seminary plus a host of nieces, nephews, love ones and friends.
