The Scriptural passage chosen for this morning can be found in Romans 1:16: “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the gentile. The apostle is telling all who will listen that he is not ashamed to be identified as a servant of God or of the power of salvation now given freely to all people. Before Jesus came, lived, died, and was resurrected from the grave, only the Jews were afforded a special relationship with God. Let us never take for granted that we have been “grafted on” and are able to enjoy that close association with the Messiah.
Okay, we have our work cut out for us today: let us be found going about, doing good, as the BIBLE tells us. Also, be sure to share and spread the love, joy, and kindness which God shares abundantly with each of us who believe in Him and call on His name.
