James Benjamin Jernigan, 28, of Taylorsville, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021, in Jones County, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, May 6, 1992, in Laurel, Mississippi.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral in Taylorsville, Mississippi.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021, at 2:00p.m., at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow at a later date at Clear Creek Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Benjamin Jernigan.
Survivors include his parents, Randy and Betty Harrison Jernigan of Taylorsville; two daughters, Priscilla Jernigan and Isabella Jernigan of Florida; one brother, Matthew Jernigan and wife Cody of Laurel; two sisters, Samantha Jernigan Howell and husband Dusty of Taylorsville and Nicole Jernigan Brady and husband Robert of Stringer; grandmothers, Sammie Wempren of Taylorsville and Patricia Tickner of Taylorsville; best friend, Blake Stringer; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
