(April 10, 1926 – January 13, 2016)
James B Kennedy, 89, of Magee, passed from this life January 13, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 18, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Rev. Stanley Kennedy and Rev. James Twiner will officiate. Burial will be in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
Surviving Family Members: Daughter – Katha Twiner ( Joe), Son – James B Kennedy (Wendy), Brother – Glen Kennedy, Grand Children – Chad Twiner (Nicole), Cheryl Meeks (Chris), Michael Kennedy (Christine), Chris Twiner (Pam), Jen (Sunny) Brown (Ben), Jamie Walker (Crystal), 15 Great- Grandchildren and host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his: Wife – Ann Blackwell Kennedy, Parents- James and Hallie Kennedy and Brother – Rev. Paul Kennedy (Doris).
Pallbearers will be: Jamie Walker, Chris Twiner, Ben Brown, Rob Smith, Sidney Smith, and Steve Blackwell.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Joe Smith
