Jackson Jones of Pinola, MS, attained the rank of Eagle Scout on March 2, 2021.  He has been active in scouting since August 2013 in Troop 81 out of Mendenhall.  His Eagle Scout service project was constructing a storage shed for Wolf Pond Animal Sanctuary in Magee.  Special thanks are given to his Scout Leaders, Rhuel Dickinson and Trish Poole, and his fellow Scouts in Troop 81.
Jackson is the son of Brooke and Jonathan Jones of Pinola.  He is the grandson of Charli and Jim Bardwell of Brandon and Diane and the late Richard Jones of Pinola.  He is a Senior at Simpson County Academy.  Jackson plans to attend the Diesel Technology program at Hinds Community College in Raymond this fall.
