(June 13, 1960 – May 22, 2023)

Jack Edward Turner, 62 of Stringer, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Monday, May 22, 2023, at the Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born on Monday, June 13, 1960, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Bryant Family Cemetery in Raleigh, Mississippi. Bro. Kevin Meadows will officiate. Special music will be performed by Mrs. Tammy Thurman.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Mr. Jack was a member of New Life United Pentecostal Church in Taylorsville, Mississippi.  He was a loving partner, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.  He enjoyed hunting, riding in his boat, racing cars, but most of all spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Turner.

Survivors include his loving life partner, Judy Brewer of Stringer, MS; four sons, Jake Brewer (Shana Krapovicky) of Brandon, MS, Joe Brewer (Ashton Dennis) of Raleigh, MS, Brent Turner of Mobile, AL and Brad Turner of Mobile, AL; mother, Liz Quinn Lundy (Sonny); seven grandchildren, Kylee Jo Brewer, Alli Mae Brewer, Maddi Jane Brewer, Emma Grace Brewer, Grayson Krapovicky, Braylon Dennis, and Brynlea Dennis; two brothers, David Turner of Mobile, AL and Kevin Lundy of Mobile, AL; one sister, Gwen McLeod of Mobile, AL; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jake Brewer, Joe Brewer, Jordan Grayson, Grayson Krapovicky, Hunter Green, and Lance Green.

Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Brewer.
