Jack D Hopkins, 85, of Magee, Mississippi, died Tuesday at Magee General Hospital. He was born Friday, September 23, 1932 in Mize.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. The Burial will follow in Magee City Cemetery. Bro. David Hopkins, Bro. Glenn Hopkins, Bro. Gary Roberts, and Bro. W.D. Sullivan will officiate.

Bro. Jack D Hopkins was the pastor of Fairmont Bible Church in Magee and was veteran of the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Virgil Hopkins and Minnie May Glisson; Brothers,  Mack Hopkins, and Junior Hopkins; Sisters, Louise McCraw and Chesley Tuggle.

Survivors include his Wife, Ann Hopkins; Sons, Jack David Hopkins, Jr (Lenice), Glenn Thomas Hopkins (Regina); Daughter, Patricia Ann Hopkins Harvey (Randy); Stepsons, Ricky Hylender (Betty), Timmy Hylender (Dianne), Craig Hylender, Barry Hylender, and David Hylender; 26 grandchildren, 41 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; A host of nieces and nephews.
