On Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 5:30am, J Hanna, 63, our father, friend, and husband to our mother of 41 years passed from this earthly and sinful world and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a stern yet humble man, who was way more than willing to give his testimony of how God had healed him. For more than 8 years he struggled with cancer and the effects of chemo/radiation finally took its toll on his body. His last request was to be able to breathe better and for the last three weeks he never had to struggle to do just that…Breathe. J leaves behind wife Tania, two daughters, Brandi (Bambi) Hanna of Magee, Jayci (Bonelli) Brown (David) of Magee; two sons, Josh Hanna (Samantha) of Carthage formerly of Magee, James (Big Boy) Hanna of Carthage. He leaves behind six grandchildren, Hunter Brown, Rylee Brown, Addyson Brown, John Braydon (Rooster) Hanna, Mabrey (Peanut Butter Jelly) Brown, and Jaycob (Frogger) Hanna.  J has three surviving brothers, Jimmy Ballenger (Jan) of Magee,  Randy Hanna of Union, David Hanna (Lynn) of Forest; and one sister, Sara Watkins (Jerry) of Louisville. Mother in Law, Shirley Yates; and Sister in Law, Tonia Caldwell (Kim) both of Carthage. J has a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and a long list of friends he leaves behind, as well as, a very large Tyson Foods Family. J was proceed in death by parents, J E Hanna and Mabel Ballenger Hanna and Father in Law, Jimmie Yates.

Visitation will Be Sunday, March 11, 2018, 5pm-8pm. Funeral services will be Monday, March 12, 2018, at 4pm. Both will be held at Sunrise Baptist Church, 353 Midway Road, Carthage MS.
