According to Simpson County Circuit Clerk Steve Womack, 1,910 signatures were submitted with the legalized liquor petitions.

1,314 signatures were certified leaving the petition short 187 qualified voters.

“If anyone has any questions or would like to view the petitions, I ask they come to my office anytime, ” stated Womack
