Good Morning to everyone on this wonderful day…a day dedicated for giving thanks. Sometimes, I think “thanksgiving” comes first in the celebration season to remind us now…and in the future (Christmas)…on to Easter as to what has actually happened in our lives. I love Thanksgiving! Growing up, Thanksgiving was not a “big” week- long or even weekend celebration. My parents owned a store on Main Street…and they only had Thursday off. But as with everything, my mother and daddy made the day all about giving thanks. My prayer is that each of you will have a day of happiness…surrounded by love and family.

Congratulations to Brad and Whitney Barnes Baker on the birth of their baby girl, Laura James Baker, on Wednesday!

Don’t forget no “garbage pick up Thursday or Friday.”

Happy 14th Birthday to Larkin!!!

Remember our servicemen…Mark Brister posted on Turkey Day “Hopefully this is the last holiday I’ll spend in Afghan. Wishing everyone a happy turkey day. Happy Thanksgiving!”…and we hope the same thing!

Enjoy your day…blessing to you and your family. I feel especially blessed today…my grandsons from FL are in MS for a few days! Wednesday, we celebrated my grandson Hudson’s first birthday! Breck and family are in Memphis…we are all healthy….God continues to take me through the valleys…and I bless His name for his forgiving heart.

Happy Thanksgiving! Be sure and share your Thanksgiving pictures with me (suehonea@bellsouth.net). I love seeing what’s going on in your life!
