Years ago, I asked the public to submit interesting pictures. Sandra Hyde sent a picture of her son Owen. I do believe some of the best pictures ever! Owen was jumping on the trampoline which caused his hair to go wild!
When I saw today is National Static Electricity Day, I immediately contacted Sandra to see if she could find the pictures. What a treasure these pictures are!
Static electricity is different from the electrical current carried by wires through a building or transmitted by the electric companies. Static electricity is produced when the positive and negative charges of an atom are out of balance.
