Thanks to the City of Magee, It’s clean!!!… the “trash pile” on 5th avenue near Hand’s Nursery is gone!!!
(The pile was located at a house across from the front of Hand’s Nursery)
Tuesday, January 8th, I paid a visit to the trash pile which was still there! (I think the pile was speaking to me!)
I also paid a visit to our mayor who assured me the problem would be taken care of…and he did it! The street is all clean, except for a few stray pieces of paper!
The trash pile was removed on Wednesday, January 9th.
Thank you to our Mayor, the Board of Alderman (my alderman Matthew Hickman who listened to me whine), Joe Worrell, city workers, and all the others who joined in the effort to get this particular place cleaned.
If you have a concern about a “trashy” area near you, email me the information with pictures or post to the City of Magee’s Facebook page. Our Mayor and board want to clean up our city.
