It’s the morning after the election and we still do not know who will lead our nation.

Happy 14th Birthday to Larkin!!!

Happy 14th Birthday to Larkin!!!

April 8, 2026

This is the time that all of God’s people should pray for God’s will, and as we pray, we need to acknowledge that God is faithful and just.  His will is to bless us and prosper His Children.

But we also need to acknowledge before God and our friends and family that we have been a disobedient, stiff-necked people!  We have disobeyed God; we have called wrong things right; we are lovers of self before all others; we have legalized murder and many other sins that God despises!

Yet we call on the name of God to save us!

How dare us!  We should first humble ourselves (get rid of our arrogance & pride), acknowledge and turn away from our sins, (to God and those we have hurt) and beg His forgiveness!  Then and only then will God hear us!!  If we do this, He has promised He will hear us and heal our nation!  But be aware that with healing, comes discipline & punishment.  Discipline and punishment are used to change attitudes and behavior!  I think all of us will acknowledge that we need to change both of these as a nation and as individuals!

When God punishes His people, both the just and the unjust are punished.  Both believers and non-believers will suffer the consequences of sin.  So remember when we ask for God’s to work in this election, He may choose a leader to discipline and punish His disobedient and stiff-necked people!

“That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” ( Matthew 5:45, KJV)

(Sue Note:  Brinda Blair is one of my favorite spiritual writers.  She just seems to cut through the chase and tell it like it should be)
