INVITATION TO BID

 

Sealed bids will be received in the office of the Superintendent of Education, 111 Education Lane, Mendenhall, MS 39114, at  4:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2022  at which time and place to be publicly opened and read during the regular monthly meeting of the Simpson County Board of Education. The bids MUST be stamped received before 4:00 p.m. in order to be eligible for opening.

Bids requested on the following:

 

Hunting and Fishing rights in:

 

  • Section 16, Township 1 North, Range 3 East   640-acres, more or less

 

 

Lease Term is for eight (8) years. Bidder must obtain proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00 if they are the high bidder.

 

Bidders should return bids in sealed envelopes for each bid placed, plainly marked (for example- “Sealed Bid for Hunting and Fishing on Section 16-T1N-R3E).

 

Minimum bid per acre is $12.00 per acre.
