WHO: The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).
WHAT: Interstate CLOSURE.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 4, at 10 a.m. for about 30 minutes.
WHERE: Interstate 55 just south of Delaware Ave at Park Drive Extension (between exit 15 and exit 17) in Pike County.
WHY: A section of I-55 will be CLOSED while Entergy replaces and upgrades powerlines.
Drivers are advised to find an alternate route.
Motorists are reminded to be on high alert for roadside workers.
