INDEPENDENCE
The word independence means to be free. Listen as God speaks to you in a still small voice. Our reading today comes from Matthew 11:28. Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. God wants us to come to him and open our hearts and let the “son” shine in. Our independence can be found when we repent, be baptized in a watery grave, be filled with the Holy Spirit, take up our cross, follow him and serve him 100%.
Our true independence comes at a place called Calvary. God wants us no matter who we are, regardless of what we have done. Come to him today. Thank you for taking time to read this devotion. Have a victorious week.
