The Scriptural passage for today is found in Isaiah 57:2: “Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.” What a reassuring thought for the Christian. As we know, the prophets of old received direct instructions and commands from God to deliver to His people. This verse is so reassuring to me. I love the thought that in death we’ll rest in perfect peace, undisturbed by the cares of this life, until Christ comes in the air, and we’ll be raised from our slumber to join Him. To me, that will be joy unspeakable and full of glory. Amen!
