By James Davis
The Scriptural passage for today is found in Psalm 23:4: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” What a consolation this verse provides the Christian! We know that God is with us no matter the circumstances we happen to face. Even in our darkest hour, we can be assured that God is there to comfort and sustain us. Even when we’re on the mountaintop and don’t feel we need help, God is still beside us to guide and protect. What other power source is able to do this? The world seeks alternatives through various fashionable trends and popular fads, but the Christian knows that God loves His children and will assure safe passage through the most difficult of times. If you have not made this all-important decision, please do so by turning your life over to God and letting Him become your guide, protector, and comforter. Let Him erase the fear of the unknown from your life. Amen!
Happy Thursday!
