(Update:  I got a short text from Connor.  They are ok…damage to some of the surrounding structures.  They stayed at their step grandparents home that had a generator.  We have been unable to talk with the boys…and probably will not be allowed to)

A Special Place, Cared for by Special People

Ok, this is personal and probably crossing lots of ethical laws…..but I am having a complete break down!  The mother of my Florida grandsons will not allow us to bring them to Mississippi.  Ya’ll, they are in the direct line of a hit tonight/early morning (Stuart, Fl…West Palm…Martin County).  They are not…let me say it again…not… evacuating…. Why would anyone leave children in harms way when you have an option that someone will fly down there…fly them back to MS and then fly them back to Florida after the storm?  I am in totally amazement and horror.  I am sick to my stomach because there is not one thing we can do.  The children have no idea of what they are facing (maybe 2 days without electricity!!! really).  Oh, I will catch it for making these statements…..

They live about 50 yards from the water!  Their “hurricane prof” home will keep them safe.  I learned to much from Katrina.  What about storm surge…tornadoes…electricity…water…..Lord help us.

Disney Land is closing down….the Florida/LSU game has been cancelled.  The Governor made the statement from the town (Stuart) the boys live in to evacuate!

Connor and Preston are so special to me…..pray for their safety.  I am afraid following the storm we will have no way of contacting them or their contacting us. …and pray I don’t loose my mind

May be time to go back to court.
