The Scriptural passage chosen for today is found in Psalm 30:11-12: “You turned my wailing into dancing; You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to You and not be silent. O Lord, my God, I will give You thanks forever.” The psalmist gloried in his close walk with God. God Himself said that David was a man after His own heart. How special to have a sentiment of such love spoken by God. Within these two verses, we see a jubilant believer who wanted to dance in praise, take joy in his Lord, and never be silent about it. David’s heart wanted to sing out in joyful praise and adoration. God Will do the same for all when given the opportunity. “I sing because I’m happy; I sing because I’m free. For His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.” Amen!
