By James Davis
The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Psalm 119: 147-148: “I rise before dawn and cry for help; I have put my hope in Your Word. My eyes stay open through the watches of the night; that I may meditate on Your promises.” The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God! The psalmist gives praise and adoration to his God by proclaiming the role He plays in his life. He rises early and remains in a prayerful state throughout the day and even the night, giving praise and remembering the promises of his God. Today, especially during times of crises, we find people turn to God to pray for help and healing. Let us be found doing so on a daily basis. Let us, as His children, stand on His promises and claim them.
Have a safe and happy Monday!
