The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in the Book of Psalm, chapter 119, verse 11: “I have hidden Your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You.” Do you commit passages from the BIBLE to memory? Not as a mental exercise, mind you, but as a quick reference when going about one’s daily rounds and common tasks. The psalmist obviously did recite verses to himself in order to stay the course and remain faithful to God’s commandments. We never know when our BIBLES might be taken from us. Search the Scriptures, therefore; commit them to memory; and rest in knowing they’re there to provide comfort and assurance, no matter the circumstance in which we find ourselves. The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God. Amen!
