The Scriptural passage for today is found in 2 Timothy 1:12: “I am not ashamed, because I know Whom I have believed, and am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day.”
Yes, indeed, the Christian can proudly make this claim with full assurance that when we accept Christ as Lord and Savior, all the promises contained within the BIBLE will one day be fully ours. “Heaven will surely be worth it all. Worth all the sorrows that here befall. After this life with all its strife, Heaven will surely be worth it all” Amen! That old hymn of hope was often sung in our home church during my youth. I still love the music and lyrics.
