WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) today issued the following statement in response to the State of the Union address delivered by President Biden:
“President Biden’s attempt to sell us a rosy picture of the state of our union will not work because the American people are not fooled by the President’s blame shifting on high prices, crime, or border security. We know that President Biden’s leadership and policies not only put their personal lives on edge, but also embolden our adversaries.
“I’m disappointed that President Biden has no intention of abandoning his failed policies, but will instead carry on with his agenda of more taxes, more radical regulations, and even more federal government intrusion into the lives of every American. The state of our union under this President is at risk and no amount of defection and campaign rhetoric will change that fact. The American people deserve better.”
Earlier Thursday, Hyde-Smith delivered a pre-State of the Union floor speech focused on how Biden’s failed border policies are endangering Americans across the country. The video and text of her remarks are available here.

The Biden in his lucid moments lashed out President Trump regarding the Ukraine war, which he started to cover up his own crimes. Jan. 6, which was Nancy Pelosi doings as she stated she had been waiting years for this didn’t not arrange for this Nation Grudged to be there to protect the Capitol. Then she had Capital Police pose as Maga supporters then infiltrate the crowd of Trump supporters encouraging them to go into the Capitol. All of this is documented on video, including Pelosi stating that she could not wait for this day to happen and she planned to punch Trump. Next he ranted about the 2nd Amendment because like Hitler he would love to take away our rights to bare arms! Then as whatever he was on to keep him lucid wore off the speech or address that turned into a campaign speech for the upcoming rematch. He could barely stay awake for the remainder of this affair his forty minute delay caused by the radical left wing protesters who labeled him correctly “ Genocide Joe”!
Ms Cindy is certainly correct although anyone with two working brain cells can see through his smoke screen.
This woman is an embarrassment to the state of Mississippi. She Ann the GOP majority in Mississippi is why everybody is laughing at us. We rank last in every good indicator and first in every bad. This woman said that “she would be happy to stand on the front line of a public hanging”. She’s racist and proud of it. She support government intrusion in women rights, voters rights, civil rights and any government program meant to support sustaining life so really she needs to go and sit down somewhere!!!! Most of her Republican friends in MS thinks that way. The only congressman that we have speaking for us is the Honorable Congressman Bernie G. Thompson. FACT!!!!
I don’t like insincere people.Hyde-Smith comments is not good .Give credit where it is due. You may not like the President but you have to give credit where it is do. He exceeded many of our expectations on the State of the Union Address. The economy is strong, inflation is going down, job market and wages is up. The border is a problem but there was a bipartisan bill held up by Republicans that would have helped greatly. I don’t care what party is in power, just get stuff done!
Cindy I can only speak for myself but many things are happening in our country, Government that at this time I cannot support Financially ! Our Government is on a collision to a Public Uprising which in turn destroy this Great Nation ! Bill’s are passed with so much pork knowing that there is no way to read all of them ! I think if people would turn to God , our country could and would be saved. President Trump is another person with our help that can turn things around for the good. Cindy Hyde Smith has the lowest ranking in the U.S. Senate. She just repeats GOP talking points without any evidence or documentation to support her claims. The majority of Mississippi residents are not benefiting from the positions she takes on issues important to us. Her interests align with rich elites and corporations that fund her campaigns. We can do a lot better than Cindy Hyde Smith.
