HURT OR HEAL
Listen today as the Holy Spirit speaks to you.
Our devotion today comes from Proverbs 15:4. A wholesome tongue is a tree of life. But perverseness there in is a breach in the spirit.
This verse tells us to think good do good so we can stay holy in the site of God who sees all things. Speak good of people. Make them feel good about themselves. If they need a special touch then give it to them. Don’t walk on the other side. If we speak right then we will live right.
This verse tells us don’t be somebody you are not. Don’t speak good of someone then before the sun goes down you cut them down to the very gut of their soul. If you do this then you have made a breach in the spirit and you need to rededicate your life to Jesus. Get rid of jealousy, anger, and pride.
How will people remember you when you die? It truly is what we do this side of heaven that truly counts. We as Christians should act like a child of God, live like a child of God, and shine like a child of God. We should have a kind word for people all the time. What we say truly can hurt or heal someone.
