Hulon Lonzo Garner, 60 of Magee, MS passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born Friday, November 16, 1962 in Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
He was preceded in death by his father, John D Garner; parental grandparents, Alonzo and Bessie Garner; maternal grandparents, Barney and Emma Higgins; nephews, Barney Warren, and George Higgins , Jr.; brother-in-law’s, Benny Brown and David Brewer; sister-in-law’s, Linda Garner and Tammy Garner.
Survivors include his sons, Jonathan Garner (Amber) of Mendenhall and Hulon Garner, Jr. (Sherie) of Tremont; daughters, Cynthia Lee (Richard) of Mendenhall , MS, Shelly Pineda (Julio) of Mendenhall, Christy Garner of Magee and Jasmine Garner of Tremont; mother, Ruby Garner of Magee; twenty -three grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; brothers, Junior Garner of Magee and Johnny Garner (Ashton) of Magee; sisters, Peggy Brown of Magee, Margaret Bishop (Kelly) of Magee and Earnestine Hill (Don) of Magee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members.
Pallbearers will be Duahcota Lee, Devin Hofler, Richard Lee, Jonathan Garner, Julio Pineda, and Tyler Sims.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Garner and Charlie Dale.
