Homer Lee Dunaway, Jr., 69, passed from this life on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at his residence in Harrisville, MS.
Funeral services for Mr. Dunaway will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Unity Baptist Church in Georgetown, with Bro. Talmadge Smith, Bro. Ricky James, and Bro. Joe Crout officiating. Burial will follow in Dunaway Family Cemetery in Harrisville, MS with Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Unity Baptist Church in Georgetown, MS from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
He was born Sunday, July 21, 1946 in McComb, MS. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Rosemary Dunaway, Harrisville, daughter Theresa Parks (Mark), Pinola, son Chris Dunaway (Melissa), Harrisville, grandchildren Rachel Spence (Shane), Taylor Dunaway, Heather McLemore (Jacob), Scott Venable (Meghan) and great grandchildren Ryan, Stephen, Mackenzie, Skylar, Kyleigh, Owen, and Jake,
He was preceded by his parents Homer Lee Dunaway, Sr. and Elmo Dunaway, sister Elizabeth Mae Cuavas, and brother James Marcus Dunaway,
