The passage of Scripture chosen for today is found in I Thessalonians 5:21-22: “Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.” We are told, as Christians, to test the spirits to discern if they are from God. We are to cling to the good and avoid evil at all costs, because there are many false teachers abounding who are disciples of the devil. Let us first pray for wisdom and discernment and question the various spirits which might seek to lead us away from God, His teachings, and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Amen!
