Hilda Herrington, 85, gained her heavenly wings on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.  She was born on March 22, 1932, to the late Thomas Deloach Coulter and Ina Ethel Davis Coulter.

Mrs. Herrington was a true Christian lady that lived her life by example.  She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family. She loved cooking for them and spending time with them at get-togethers.  She was a dedicated and hard worker for many years before retiring. She was a faithful member of Siloam Baptist Church. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Mrs. Herrington was the beloved wife of the late Hilton Herrington, devoted mother to Clyde Herrington (Pam), and Rita Dukes; loving grandmother to Julie Odom, Casey Herrington, Chris Dukes, Nicholas Dukes, Jim McLeod; great-grandmother to Mac McElrath, Sam Odom, Kate Odom and Jonathan Herrington.
