Thanks to Bruce Lewis, the flag pole located in front of Zip’s and near Sears on Highway 49, received a paint job Saturday, September 21, 2019.

Joe Worrell of the City of Magee has been working for weeks on cleaning up the area near the flag pole creating a memorial to the Veterans of our area.

Bruce Lewis agreed to donate his time to paint the flag pole.  Joe has received new flags for the poles and will display the flags in November in honor of Veterans’ Day.

Much thanks to Bruce for giving of his time, talent, and money to create a tribute to our Veterans.

Anyone wishing to contribute to the project may contact Joe Worrell at City Hall.
