Henry Harvey Blakeney, 91, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Covington County Hospital in Collins. He was born Tuesday, April 8, 1930.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to Funeral Services that will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. A Masonic graveside service will follow in Magee City Cemetery. Bro. Raymond Jeffcoat and Bro. Gary Blakeney will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife of fifty one years, Bobbye Blakeney; his four children, Ralph Blakeney and wife, Judy of Mission Viejo, California, David Blakeney of Little Rock, Arkansas, Judy Byrd and husband, Steve of Mendenhall, Allison Dyar of Magee; his five grandchildren, Blake Byrd and wife, Kayla, Becca Bridges and husband, Phillip, Hank Blakeney, Maya Blakeney, and Jillian Strite; his four great- grandchildren, Blakeney and Chandler Bridges, Baker Byrd, and Kaiden Blakeney; and host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and other family members.
