Henry Harvel Bridges
(February 20, 1930 – April 17, 2016)

 
Henry Harvel Bridges, 86, of Pinola, passed from this life Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Simpson General Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Bro. Roger Lee and Sammy Napier will officiate. Burial will be in Kees Cemetery on Old Westville Road. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.

 
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall.

Mr. Bridges is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Mattie Ruth Bridges of Pinola; daughter – Charlotte Holbrook of Pinola; sons – Danny Bridges (Brynda)of Mendenhall and David Bridges (Sara) of Pinola; sisters – Nancy Hawthorne, Maggie Mahaffey and Archie Cordray; grandchildren Shawn Bridges of Mendenhall, Chad Bridges (Summer) of Brandon, Blake Bridges of Mendenhall, Brian Burney (Amy) of Florence, Billy Burney (Holly) of Brandon, Cody Holbrook of Pinola, Vicki Parker of Pinola, Jamie Creel (Peyton) of Pinola, and Jonathan Bridges of Pinola; great grandchildren: Gannon, Garrett, Brody, Ross, Macy, Declan and Corbin.

 
Mr. Bridges is preceded in death by his parents Hiram Bridges and Minnie Mae Bridges; brothers Charles Bridges and Johnnie Bridges; grandson – Landon Bridges.
