(My friend Zeno shared the story of his dad. Zeno loves his sweet father and needs help for him. Anyone who can donate to Zeno Sr expenses, please do!)
In August 2021 my Dad ( Zeno Mangum Jr) was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Over the next several months he began chemo and radiation. The results had been positive he even “graduated” from radiation treatment. 6 -8 weeks ago he had a PET scan that showed major improvements! The tumor had shrunk and his body was reacting positively to all the treatments. He begin having pain shortly after that PET scan and went for a follow up PET scan. This PET scan revealed the cancer had spread throughout his organs bones and limp nodes. His Dr said she thought she was looking at the wrong scan when she saw how rapidly the cancer had spread. She can not stop it anymore and his life expectancy is less than 6 months. In March his family medical leave ran out. We are waiting on his discharge paperwork from the Air Force to get him officially retired. While we wait, my dad has no income and and help is needed in taking care of his living expenses until his funds become available.
