I was contacted by a citizen of Magee who is very interested in helping the homeless in our area. The lady has asked I not share her name.
She and her husband have arranged a place for the homeless veteran to live.
The man needs some items: Small microwave, a hot plate, light bulbs, bleach, a Small mattress with a sheet, toilet paper perhaps, a towel, Tupperware, and pots and pans.
You can call 769-428-5400 if you have a question. Items may be delivered to 112 1st Avenue SE in Magee (next to City Florist.)
According to my source, there is another homeless man in the area. She is trying to secure a place for him to live.
