The Scriptural passage for today was selected from Isaiah 32:17: “The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.” Praise the Lord! Help me to be peaceful and quiet, dear Lord. The prophet Isaiah delivered God’s Holy Words directly as they were imparted to him. God wants His people to live righteous lives and to be obedient to Him and Him alone. Obeying God’s laws and precepts lead to righteousness; therefore, let us make it our business to do just that. To reach that end, we must study His Word, pray diligently, and seek His face.
