The United States Postal Service is promoting “Fill a Bag. Help Feed Families” Saturday, May 13th. Food collected on that day will go to the Food for Families operated by the First United Methodist Church of Magee.

Place your bag of food by your mail box. Donate healthy, low-sodium, low-sugar items such as beans, canned tuna in water, peanut butter, soup, vegetables, pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, oatmeal, and other whole grains, canned fruits, canola, or olive oil and canned meats. Please do not donate items that have expired or ones in glass containers.

Ok, everyone needs to have a food bag by their mailbox on Saturday! Let’s help feed our community!
