Dangerous heat stress conditions are expected today and will persist through Saturday as a prolonged period of hot weather continues. Afternoon heat indices will range from 105-110 degrees for most locations. Heat index values may lower slightly on Saturday but will still approach or exceed 105 degrees for much of the area.
