By James Day
The Scriptural passage for this morning is taken from Revelation 21:4: “He will wipe every tear away from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” This is our hope in Christ Jesus! This is what we Christians long for as we make our journey in this life. Can we even imagine what a life without pain, sickness, and sorrow will be like? Behold, all things will be new. “What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see. When I look upon His face, the One who saved me by His grace. When He takes me by the hand and leads me through the Promised Land, what a day, glorious day that will be.” I love that gospel song and sing it so often. Thank you, God, for your promise and that glorious day!
Yes, our lives should reflect the love and joy of Jesus to others, many of whom have no concept of Him. It’s why I so often urge us to share and spread those Christ-like attributes as we go about our day. Let’s do it continually, okay? Happy Monday!
