Hazel Jones, 86, of Magee, passed away, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Magee General Hospital.
She was born on July 12, 1928 to the late parents of John L. Jones and Mattie (Linder) Jones .
She is survived by her five daughters; Chyrel Grayson, Nancy Hall (Ray), Patricia Blair (Billy), Ellen Blount (Sammy), Theda Gibbons (Charles); thirteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon; five brothers, one sister, son in law Gary “Goofy” Grayson, one grandson and son of her heart, George Robinson and his wife, Mary Nell Robinson.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Services will be Friday, May 8, at 11:00 am at Coat Baptist Church in Magee with an hour of visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am prior to the service. Interment will follow in New Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall. Bro. Bill Blair, Bro. Chad Grayson, Bro. Vince Grayson and Bro. Donnie Guy will be officiating.
