Assists at State Capitol
Hayes Berry of Magee recently served as a page for the Mississippi Senate.
Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff.
Hayes is pictured with Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann, who sponsored his visit, and his father, Senator Andy Berry.
Hayes is the son of Jennifer and Andy Berry and attends Simpson Academy.
When asked about the week, Hayes said, “This week I have learned many new things. I got to meet new people and make good friends. This is something that I would recommend to other people. I enjoyed seeing what my dad and the other senators do every day. I also got to see how the Senate works. I am grateful for this opportunity, and I hope to come back soon.
