(April 23, 1945 – July 1, 2016)
Harry Daniel McLain, 71, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at Briar Hill Nursing Home in Florence.

 

Visitation is 12 noon Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Puckett Baptist Church. Services are scheduled at 2 pm Wednesday at the church, with burial in Puckett City Cemetery.

Mr. McLain was a native and lifelong resident of Rankin County. He was a member of Puckett Baptist Church and had been farming in Rankin County for the past 20 years. Mr. McLain was an avid reader and enjoyed watching old western movies.

 
Survivors include his wife, Patricia McLain of Puckett; son, Chris McLain of Magee; step-daughters, Fran Gray (Randy) of Polkville and Cindy Cole (Greg) of Puckett; step-son, Bryan Bailey of Pearl; sister, Sue Stevens of Puckett; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

 
The family request memorials to Puckett Baptist Church, 6400 Hwy 18, Puckett, MS 39151 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 1 St. Jude Place, P. O. Box 1000-Dept. 300, Memphis, TN 38148-0552
