 Harold (Pete) Martin Barnard, 80 of Magee, MS passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at his home in Magee. He was born Sunday, June 6, 1943 in Simpson County, Mississippi

   Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Magee City Cemetery.  Bro. Paul Barnard will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031.

  Pete worked for H&P Drilling Company for 37 years where he made many friends that he called his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a charter member of Eastside Baptist Church in Magee.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie  David  Barnard and Bertie Wells  Barnard;  grandchild, Tyler  Scott  Wallace;  brothers, Wardell Barnard, James  Barnard and Baby Boy  Barnard;  sisters, Mary  Lou  Tanner, Sue  Spangler and Opal  Walker.

  Survivors include his wife, Linda Sue Barnard;  son, Joseph  Barnard  (Barbara);  daughters, Renee Barnard, Pat  Barnard  Wallace (Scott) and Tracy  Barnard;  grandchildren, Eric  Turcotte, Elizabeth  Turcotte  Craft  (Dylan ), Emily  Wallace (CJ Jones), Kaci  Wallace, Kati  Jane  Barnard;  brothers, Bennie  Barnard  (Arlene), Kenny  Barnard  (Kathi);  great grandchild, Owen  James  Craft and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

  The Barnard family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Enhabit Home Health and Hospice
