Having my Florida grandsons home for Thanksgiving is fabulous for this grandmother! I miss the everyday life with Connor and Preston. Part of Thanksgiving is always the Egg Bowl…and this year…well, the bowl might have been sad but the togetherness was awesome. Thank you Lord for the little things. Now, I didn’t brave the elements of the Egg Bowl in Starkville…the warm comfort of my home suited me just fine. But, seeing and touching these boys did this heart good. Baby grandson, Hudson turns 3 today! We will all celebrate Saturday. Saturday is a happy and sad day. I love having these group of my family together but then the realization of their leaving takes a toll on the ole heart! The Lord says, it all things give thanks…and I am giving thanks for any amount of time…because I know to well how quickly life can change.
