Truly the patriarch of our family! Jean is the last living child of Lace and Bertha Horn. Jean was born in Magee one of five children. She has lived in Pelahatchie for years where she ran a department store. Every year, I post our Pelahatchie Horn Christmas pictures. We still get together!
Jean has 4 children: Barbara Phillips of Huntsville, Al, Rebecca Rodgers of Brandon, Deborah Stone of Tupelo, and Knox Ross, Jr. of Pelahatchie.
Actually, Aunt Jean grew up in the house I now live in!!! She always loves to come to Magee and sit on the porch!
All of her siblings are deceased: Mary Ruth Dickey (my mother), Dr. Gebe Horn of Vicksburg, Willie Grace Everett of Magee, and Dr. Paul Horn of Greenville
Best wishes to Jean on her 95th birthday—and by the way, she is sharp as a tack!
