The City of Magee Burn ban has been lifted!  After receiving about 3 ½ to 4 “ of rain, Fire Marshal Charlie Valadie gave the word…now, remember this!!! The county ban has not been lifted!  Charlie said after the coming weekend rains, maybe the ban can be lifted Monday…but it’s a wait and see…so don’t start burning if you live outside the city limits of Magee.

Monday night, December 5th, the Magee Neighborhood Watch Meeting will be held at the Magee Fire Station beginning at 6:30.  Bring a covered dish and we’ll all celebrate the holiday season together.  The speaker is a surprise…come and check it out!  Everyone is invited.

Have you signed up for the Christmas parade?  No charge to participate…and all you need to do is call the Magee Chamber of Commerce.  The parade begins at 6:00 PM on Main Street Magee!

The delightful D’Lo Christmas parade is Saturday beginning at 4.  If you’ve never attended a D’Lo Christmas parade…let this be the year!  I love the D’Lo parade…truly a hometown Christmas parade.  Mayor John Henry Berry says everyone is invited to come and sit on his porch and watch the “fun.”

Well, tomorrow is December 1st…..where have the months and days gone…this has been the fastest year!  If December moves like November, I’ll be writing a Happy New Year Post before a blink of the eye!

Continued prayers for the people who are sick and hurting in our area.  We have many people facing the Christmas holidays without someone they dearly loved…we have many people facing the holidays with sickness…remember to pray for our people.

Have a great last day of November…see you on the flip side…December 1st!
