Hanna Lester has been named Magee’s 2016 Miss Hospitality. Hanna was crowned by the outgoing Miss Hospitality, Taylor White.
Hanna stated, “I’m so excited to see what God has in store for me as I’m able to serve my community as Magee’s Miss Hospitality.
Hanna is the daughter of Nona Cook and granddaughter of Mickey and Barbara Westmorland of Magee.
Taylor had this to say about her year as Magee’s Miss Hospitality:
“Today, I had the privilege to crown Magee’s 2016 Miss Hospitality. This year has been the journey of a lifetime serving the community of Magee. From numerous Ribbon Cuttings, serving as Grand Marshall of the Christmas Parade, and placing in the Top 3 Speeches at the state pageant, it has been a year full of memories! Thank you to the City of Magee for all of your support and the opportunity to represent our town. Mrs. Doris Adcox you of course deserve a special thank you for keeping me in line throughout the year. Thank you to everyone who played a role helping and preparing me for this special year! Hanna Lester congratulations to you as you begin the journey of a lifetime! May it be as great of a year for you as it was for me!”
