Pearl Police Investigators have arrested and charged Brandy L. Hales, 48, of Morton with felony embezzlement. Hales is the owner of Hales CPA Firm, PLLC in Pearl.
Hales is charged with felony embezzlement for allegedly using funds of a client for her own use and gain in the amount of $47,120.33.
Hales turned herself in at the Pearl Police Dept. Thursday night and posted a $250,000 bond. She was released with an initial court appearance scheduled for Nov. 21.
